Singers will have a short voicing (not an audition!) to be placed in the right choir, with opportunities to register on-site. For those who love to sing but don’t have the time or ability to join an ensemble that meets regularly. This weekend intensive is for you! Join us at our inaugural VEST Community Sings on October 24-25 at 360 Aurora in Elmira Heights. This group brings together people of all ages for an intergenerational, open-to-all weekend intensive singing experience. No experience and no auditions are required—just a love of singing! Over the course of two relaxed rehearsals (Friday evening and all day Saturday), participants learn easy, accessible music that spans folk, gospel, pop, world music, and more. Each session culminates in a joyful community concert on Saturday night. Simply show up, add your voice, and experience the joy of making music together.
